Studio Guidelines
No Late Entry
Our doors welcome you 10 minutes before class starts and shut the minute your class is scheduled to begin.
Unfortunately, if you are more then 5 minutes late your spot could be given away to someone on the waitlist. Please ensure security, safety and respect for everyone by being punctual.
Modifications, Not substitutions
It is important that you and everyone else in the class get the most out of their class.
If an injury keeps you from following the group (eg. You are unable to squat), please consider clinical Pilates until your injury has subsided and you’re able to join in
Noise in the studio
Please make sure to save your chats, calls and texts until after the class.
With doors closed, its time to settle in, listen to your trainer and focus. Our classes are a safe space for all to come and enjoy undisrupted time.
Stay for the Stretch
When you book a class at Power Moves you are committing to the entire session, including the warm up, work out and the cool down.
We understand everyone has busy lives with other commitments, however if you are unable to stay for the entire duration of the class, please choose a more suitable time.
This ensures no disruption for your fellow members.
Classes
Reformer Studio
- Safety and Hygiene First; Grip socks are non-negotiable.
Mat Studio
- BYO Mat but if it slipped your mind you can rent one for $3
- Stay hydrated, sip often
- A sweat towel is essential, if you hire a mat you MUST use a mat to place over the whole of your mat
- Need a break? Rest as much as you need, if the heat becomes too much inform your trainer
- Unfortunately, heated classes are not suitable at any stage of pregnancy (for pregnancy friendly classes please check out FAQ section)

In order to maintain fairness and accommodate all our clients, we must uphold the same rules for everyone and cannot make exceptions to our late cancellation policy, unless it’s due to an emergency or can provide a medical certificate.
